I went with my mom to see the RedWings play the Blue Jackets yesterday. It was a good game but the Red Wings lost 3-2 in a shootout. I usually go to two or three Red Wings games a year.
The people in the stands there are kind of crazy. Two guys behind us got in a fight and the usher came over but my mom said he was like 70 years old so he couldn't stop the fight. My mom said the guys were drunk. Then a lady came up to me and tried to give me money and we said no and then I saw her try and give other kids money. My mom said she was drunk too.
I like Compuware Arena better. Sometimes when the Windsor fans come over, things get wild with them but that is about it. At Compuware everybody just cheers for the Whalers. We get replays behind our section too. And there are more kids there. At Compuware, I can just walk around by myself and that is cool. Some of the ushers even know me and say hi. Also I can slap hands with the Whalers at the tunnel and at Joe Louis Arena, you cannot go by the tunnel unless your seat is right there.
Compuware Arena is much better.
