The Whalers went up in the series 2-0 by beating the Sting 3-2. The whole story here was the referees who called a lot of penalties and a lot of bad ones on both teams. Then when they knew they messed up, they were calling make-up calls that were just as bad. They called crazy penalties against both teams. I guess I can't complain too much about the referees because after the game, I was standing next to the referees tunnel and one of the refs gave me the game puck. I have a lot of game pucks because I stand there a lot but I will always take another one.
My Uncle Mike and Aunt Kristin were at the game and they had an extra ticket so they invited my mom so that was cool and I visited them during the game. My mom sent me a text and said she saw me picking my nose but I wasn't.
I give Mitchell Heard the Whaler Town player of the game because he got a goal and an assist.
Now the Whalers go to Sarnia for two games and maybe they can win both games and end the series there.
